About Vincent

The first-born son of a career military officer, I grew up on U.S. Army bases around the world. I received a BA degree in Political Science and MS degree in Education. Following graduate studies, I established a career in education, publishing and technology. My award-winning debut novel was published in 2015. A sequel novella was published in 2018. Both were written under the pseudonym of Jackson Badgenoone. Along the writing path, I also published several short stories under my given name, Vincent James Vezza.

My published works incorporate elements of my life experience, family, and career. They contain spiritual, political, and historical threads that weave the works together.

I manage a column for a regional newspaper and am active in the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society. I am a literacy tutor and participate in our county library genealogy outreach.

As Regional Representative for the North Carolina Writers’ Network, I manage writing and speaking activities in the NCWN Metro North region, encouraging writers of all ages to hone their craft. I provide a “Lessons Learned” interview YouTube channel.

My story telling features a lifetime of experience and ultimately reinforces the notion that change happens.
